Semiconductor supplier STMicro has announced last week the launch of a new MEMS barometric pressure sensor. The tiny (2.5mm x 2.5mm x 1mm) LPS25H sensor has very low operating current of 4µA to preserve battery life. The accuracy is estimated to within ±0.2mbar.
