Usage Based Insurance Awareness Reaches 1/3 of U.S. Consumers

One in every three U.S. consumers is aware of usage-based insurance (UBI), the systems based on telematics, tripling its awareness in the last three years, according to a new study commissioned by LexisNexis.

The web-based survey polled 2,072 U.S. residents representing a sample of insured drivers, ages 21 to 74.
